Your Questions, Answered

New Colour Variations

Q: Will you release an all-blue version of the Helicon Master.

A: We already have an Ultramarine edition in collaboration with Made by Everyone (MbE). This limited-edition piece features a stunning faded blue dial developed with Timothy Everest, who has designed costumes for Skyfall and Alien and even dressed David Bowie.

Q: Could you create a “Sand and Sea” version with yellow, white, and pale blue accents?

A: That’s a beautiful idea! While we’re committed to keeping the Master Collection limited, we’re always open to exploring exciting concepts for future designs.

Design Variations and Future Models

Q: Will you make a GMT version of the Helicon Master?

A:  The idea of a GMT has come up frequently! We love GMT watches, and while some find them complex, they’re a possibility we’re actively considering.

Q: What about a larger or smaller version of the Helicon Master?

A: At 38.5mm, we designed the Helicon Master for comfort and versatility. While a larger 40mm version might appeal to some, we’d need to carefully balance legibility and design proportions.

Q: Can we expect a chronograph or a pilot’s watch?

A:  Both are on our long-term roadmap. For a pilot’s watch, we’re collaborating with professional and military pilots to ensure the design meets real-world needs. As for a dive chronograph, it’s a challenge to balance water resistance with the complexities of the mechanism, but we’re exploring the possibilities.

Craftsmanship and Materials

Q: Tell us about your dials.

A: Each dial is hand-painted by Amy, an incredible artist who layers paint with precision and care to achieve the rich gradients and textures Helicon Watches are known for. Her artistry makes every dial unique.

Q: Will you use more modern materials, like carbon fibre or skeletonised designs?

A:  Carbon fibre cases and dials are intriguing, but durability remains a concern for us in high-performance watches. Skeletonized designs are also on our radar, but we’d likely reserve them for dressier models rather than sports watches.

Q: Could you add an on-the-fly micro-adjustment bracelet?

A:  While our current bracelets prioritize comfort and strength, we’re open to exploring this feature in future models. For now, the Helicon Master’s female end links and overall design ensure an exceptional fit straight out of the box.

Technical Features

Q: Does the Helicon Master have a sapphire crystal?

A:  Yes! The Helicon Master features a double-domed sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective coating on the inner surface. It’s one of the most durable and expensive components of the watch, designed for clarity and toughness.

Q: What about a loom dial or additional strap options?

A:  Loom dials and contrasting indices are exciting ideas, and we’d love your feedback. As for straps, we already offer skin diver straps, but a Velcro strap for wearing over a wetsuit cuff is an idea worth exploring.

What’s Next for Helicon Watches?

We’re committed to listening to your feedback and using it to shape the future of our designs. While the Helicon Master will always remain a limited-edition collection, our goal is to continue creating timepieces that blend craftsmanship, innovation, and artistry.

In 2025, expect more behind-the-scenes content showcasing our design process and the talented individuals who bring these watches to life.
